Are my cycling stats from today any good for a beginner?

When you are starting your season, speed is not really important. Instead, work on your endurance, start doing longer rides, explore new routes, and enjoy yourself. You can of course spend some of your riding time working on getting faster, but until you have a good mileage base, say about 600 miles you shouldn't be trying to push yourself too hard. When you are starting out, it is easy to injure yourself.
