One year old baby makes crazy shouts while crying?

Hi I have by the grace of Allah a son of one year and a few months whom I love the most. Recently we went hilly areas where this happens. While sleeping in the night he usually wakes up crying with very very loud shouts. These shouts are so loud that even make me crazy and nausiac within. I am deeply worried about it. I have taken every care in his living since his birth.I have never shouted on him. This has recently started. Is this colic or any other extreme case or psyche. He weighs ok and has started walking. He is also very good at talking few thing very cute and early for his age. Kindly provide assistance
