What does this dream mean? I was walking in a wealthy neighborhood. I thought?

that I knew where I was going, but as I walked the hilly streets, I realized that I didn't. I was lost. I walked and walked until I realized that it wasn't worth going on and decided to walk down-hill. I bumped into other people who were also lost. I didn't talk to them, but just excused myself and walked around them as I continued my down-hill trek. I stopped at a house which had a restaurant on the first floor. I walked in and found a lady sitting at the far side of the restaurant. She had just finished answering questions and I felt embarrassed to ask her more. (I sensed she might have been tired, having done it with other people.) I started some conversation with her for her sake and then got to my need. I recall asking her: 'Where is the T?' which is the symbol for our public transport here in the Boston area. She pointed and I thanked her. I continued walking down-hill. I recognized a high-rise which was one of the dormitories of a famous college. I was relieved and continued walking. What does this dream mean?
