Hi I ran a hilly 2 mile cross country race today in 14:40 is this a good to?
Yea mate! that's a really good time for cross country!! Wow and it sounds like your doing a lot already! Your track sessions sound a bit less. Maybe you could try to do 4 or 5 600m runs (if your training with a group) If your training alone, I'd suggest you to vary your speed work routines. Not very clever to do the same stuff every week. I think your 10k run is okay since your not doing any longer distances. Oh yea, and eat healthy too. That's really important. When I used to eat some unwanted junk, my 10k timings were in the low 40s. I cut out all the unwanted calories from my diet at the start of new year. And I ran a 37:52 10k on February. Just eat until your satisfied. Not more.
